About the role
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the branches within your area.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as required.
- Develop customer relations and communicate with Regional Sales Manager to meet targets.
- Interact with customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and gain feedback.
- Brief Branch Managers on sales goals, promotions, and other information.
- Ensure Branch stock control and audits are completed.
- Manage stock efficiency including supplier/customer returns.
- Drive telesales efficiency within your area.
- Ensure service levels with parts deliveries are satisfactory.
- Resolve customer problems as needed.
- Manage staff holidays and report staffing issues.
- Comply with health & safety requirements.
- Ensure cash management adheres to procedures.
- Assist credit control with customer debt.
- Drive promotional activities and achieve set goals.
- Maintain high ethical and professional standards.
Requirements
- Already working in the automotive industry.
- Experience as an Area Manager or experienced Motor Factor Branch Manager.
- Ability to manage and grow direct reports.
- First class commercial awareness with the ability to leverage reporting data to drive growth and margin.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
