About the role

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the branches within your area.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as required.
  • Develop customer relations and communicate with Regional Sales Manager to meet targets.
  • Interact with customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and gain feedback.
  • Brief Branch Managers on sales goals, promotions, and other information.
  • Ensure Branch stock control and audits are completed.
  • Manage stock efficiency including supplier/customer returns.
  • Drive telesales efficiency within your area.
  • Ensure service levels with parts deliveries are satisfactory.
  • Resolve customer problems as needed.
  • Manage staff holidays and report staffing issues.
  • Comply with health & safety requirements.
  • Ensure cash management adheres to procedures.
  • Assist credit control with customer debt.
  • Drive promotional activities and achieve set goals.
  • Maintain high ethical and professional standards.

Requirements

  • Already working in the automotive industry.
  • Experience as an Area Manager or experienced Motor Factor Branch Manager.
  • Ability to manage and grow direct reports.
  • First class commercial awareness with the ability to leverage reporting data to drive growth and margin.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
