💰 £45,000 - £50,000 per year
About the role
- Manage negotiation and contracting for all agreements and day-to-day management of contracts in line with the Procurement Policy
- Deliver sustainable savings across the supply base
- Ensure procurement decisions align with ESG principles and best practice
- Manage multiple procurement projects and contract renewals concurrently, prioritising to meet objectives and deadlines
- Plan on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis to develop a procurement pipeline
- Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic priorities with third party support
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Provide consultancy support and market insights to stakeholders considering tenders or changing suppliers
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sourcing or procurement manager role, able to operate independently with minimal support/supervision
- Experience in indirect procurement, ideally sourcing software and services
- Proficient in writing and reviewing legal documents (with referral points to legal where required)
- Ideally studying towards CIPS or have relevant education (business or legal)
