Provide technical and regulatory assistance to refinery and corporate personnel on environmental issues related to refinery operations, project support, and compliance with applicable regulatory and permit requirements.
Manage complex environmental regulatory, permitting and compliance projects at facility-specific and corporate levels.
Understand and interpret regulatory requirements and determine the impact on refinery operations; present issues to refinery and corporate management as required.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing and proposed federal, state and local environmental regulations and forecast impacts of regulatory changes.
Assist with air emission calculations and develop new and improved methodologies.
Provide written and verbal regulatory guidance; deliver presentations and training to refinery and corporate employees and industry groups.
Assist refineries in replying to Agency inquiries and enforcement actions; participate in corporate environmental audits.
Perform all duties following safety guidelines established by the Company.
Requirements
B.S. Degree or higher in Engineering or related Science required.
7+ years experience of Environmental Engineering with refinery/petrochemical operator required.
