Acts as the key representative for clients/operators to solve operational, technical, and administrative problems regarding aircraft/spare parts operation and maintenance.
Develops customer service relationships and visits Embraer aircraft operators; discusses prevention of problems and identifies solutions.
Works closely with product, sales and engineering teams as client advocate and brand/product ambassador.
Provides technical support to clients, operators, suppliers, workshops/stations and contracted maintenance companies.
Identifies, records, analyzes and evaluates service bulletins, reports, documents, manuals, technical publications, and technical/operational problems.
Analyzes structure, aeronautical systems, generators and engines, avionics and electrical systems, costs, and economic viability; presents alternative maintenance/modification solutions.
Maintains contacts across company units, customers, suppliers, contracted maintenance shops, and technical personnel to provide and obtain operational/technical information.
Coordinates retrofit campaigns and supports qualification process of maintenance/repair shops by visiting facilities and evaluating infrastructure, materials, equipment, tools, and personnel qualifications.
Prepares and gives technical/operational training to maintenance professionals and presentations to operators about technological improvements.
Prepares reports related to technical visits and expenses and stays current with new technologies, maintenance, parts, components, and aircraft types.
Requirements
BS/BA degree required.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in area of responsibility, or 5-7 years of experience with an Advanced Degree.
Extensive knowledge in a specialty area and in all other interrelated tasks and responsibilities of the job function.
Aircraft maintenance aspects knowledge.
Client support and service quality techniques.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Knowledge of Embraer products.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Reliability analysis knowledge.
Understanding of liability (Manufacturer’s responsibility).

Employees subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
Ability to work independently and remotely and travel as required, often with little or no notice.
