Commercial Director, Europe

Mechanical Engineer

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical subsystems from concept through manufacturing.
• Define system architecture, component selection, and engineering tradeoffs to meet product performance, reliability, and durability requirements.
• Create detailed CAD models, assemblies, and drawings with appropriate GD&T annotations.
• Design components and systems optimized for manufacturability, cost efficiency, scalability, and serviceability (DFM/DFA).
• Build and test prototypes to validate function, reliability, user interaction, and manufacturability.
• Develop engineering requirements, test plans, and documentation to support product development and validation.
• Lead and participate in design reviews, including concept reviews, PDRs, CDRs, and production readiness reviews.
• Work closely with suppliers, fabricators, and manufacturing to ensure designs meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule.
• Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost reduction, and manufacturing optimization.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Associate

• Conduct monthly and quarterly valuations of real estate investments across the United States, including conducting DCF/sale comparable/cost analyses, appraisal review, reporting, etc.
• Review and track business plans, leasing activity and monthly property operating performance for valuations purposes
• Prepare quarterly investment-level tear sheets summarizing key valuation metrics, property-level performance indicators, and material assumption changes period over period
• Prepare periodic unlevered cash flow projections for reporting purposes using ARGUS Enterprise and Excel
• Coordinate with third-party appraisal management providers on appraisal scheduling, scope, and information flow; reconcile appraisal conclusions to internal valuations and document variances
• Support client external audit cycles and internal SOX testing by responding to auditor inquiries, preparing supporting documentation, and providing market support as requested
• Maintain valuation templates and supporting workpapers, ensuring data integrity, version control, and clear audit trails across the quarterly cycle
• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned client deal teams, managing inbound information requests and proactively communicating timelines, deliverables, and open items
• Assist in implementing enhancements and improvements to the firm’s valuations and reporting processes, procedures, and use of technology

Underwriter

• Lead the analysis, underwriting and structuring of new investments;
• Size and price investments with structural features;
• Participate in negotiations of term sheets and loan documents;
• Coordinate the due diligence process including managing third-party service providers such as appraisers, engineers, consultants, etc., and conduct critical review and analysis of all third-party reports;
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with a transaction and provide ideas for solutions and risk mitigants;
• Gather, analyze and interpret real estate market data/trends and financial information;
• Prepare and present final due diligence findings to Investment Committee;
• Conduct comprehensive site inspections, including sale and rent comparable properties;
• Execute and oversee the closing process of transactions;
• Underwrite all asset classes using Excel-based underwriting models, including complex cash flow, DCF, IRR and fund/partnership waterfall modeling;
• Build Excel models from scratch for ad-hoc analysis;
• Maintain and analyze budgets, prepare periodic reports that compare budget to actual;
• Lead transition meetings between deal teams and asset management teams to effectively onboard each new asset or financing; and
• Maintain strong relationships with external auditors and internal partners.
