About the role
- Lead the Transceiver product line
- Responsible for strategic product management and market launches in all regions
- Develop quantifiable strategies for profitable growth at the product line level
- Participate in strategy development
- Manage the product portfolio by charting product life cycle
- Lead the new product development process and take responsibility for quantifying market value and financial viability of proposed products
- Develop innovative methods and materials to train customers on products and Belden’s sales team
- Establish, manage, and provide information required for business operations
- Work with purchasing manager to develop supplier relationships
- Collaborate with sales and solutions engineering teams to develop commercial strategy
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in engineering, marketing or field relevant to the primary functions of the role; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of B2B product/portfolio management experience with cable and telco service providers
- Proven experience overseeing and driving product development and new product launches
- Distribution and direct selling model experience
- Knowledge of pricing and capital budgeting
- SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Planning) experience
- Experience building a value story
