About the role
- Support multiple client accounts and serve as integral members of each client’s accounting team
- Act as primary point of contact for day-to-day accounting matters and participate in regular client meetings
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
- Account Reconciliation
- Sales Tax
- Cash Flow Management
- Accounting-related email communication on behalf of the client
- Represent BELAY Financial with a high-level of professionalism in all communications
- Work Monday-Friday business hours with occasional travel for some roles
Requirements
- MUST RESIDE IN EASTERN OR CENTRAL TIMEZONE
- Bachelor's degree or a year or more of accounting related experience
- Motivated and trustworthy self-starter
- Strong communication and technological skills
- Flexible, creative, well-organized
- Producing work with a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Financial statement understanding
- Debit and credit understanding
- Systems Knowledge, like Gusto, QuickBooks Online, Fathom, Cin7, or similar cloud-based accounting, payroll, and/or business management software
- Ability to manage time and workload in a remote environment
- Professional, kind and proactive in all client-facing communication (written and on camera)
