About the role

  • Your role within the Category & Sales Strategy team at Bel UK is tasked with driving the business through effective retailer and shopper engagement.
  • From category analysis to discover killer insights, delivering engaging retailer presentations, collaborative business planning and executing winning trade marketing plans, you’ll play a key role internally & externally growing the Bel UK business.
  • Take ownership for the preparation and maintenance of market reports, sharing with the wider business and customers as appropriate.
  • Deliver Trade/Shopper marketing executions which reflect the shopper’s needs and are strategically tailored across the path to purchase.
  • Jointly build customer/channel specific Shopper Marketing plans to deliver category/brand solutions and deliver against the brand plans, working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Responsibility for retailer budgets, planning, forecasting, processing and invoicing each campaign and total year budget.
  • Driving innovation with differentiated retailer initiatives and event plans, supported by data-led rationale, aligned with promotional and brand communication plan.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Preferred experience of using Circana/Nielsen/Kantar market data tools
  • Preferred experience presenting to clients, analysing data and working on creative marketing assets
  • You have a strong interest in understanding the shopper mindset, working with retailers and impacting the grocery retail landscape and of course a strong passion for our brands!
