About the role

  • perform daily work actions with yard drivers including reception, tagging, storage, sampling/testing
  • determine material destinations and storage locations
  • work with Apple Yard Specialist to locate/stressed apples to mitigate spoilage
  • monitor temporary storage trailers during holiday shutdown for ingredient quality
  • manage maintenance requests for compactors
  • assure adherence to blend specifications

Requirements

  • responsible for all tactical management of Supply Chain Department
  • running areas of Supply Chain Production Support (Yard, Warehouse, Switcher Truck, VIF Operations/Palletizer)
  • guidance to operators in other areas of department
  • decisions on staffing coverage, equipment-related issues, inventory management, incident investigation, reporting and response
  • first point of contact for Supply Chain business
