About the role

Design, implement, and maintain features across backend (Java, Python) systems and APIs
Work closely with product managers, designers, QA, and DevOps engineers to deliver user-focused solutions
Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code ensuring performance, security, and reliability
Participate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, and uphold testing and maintainability practices
Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot performance issues across the stack to maintain responsiveness under scale
Engage in architectural and technical discussions and provide input for design decisions
Support the features and services you build, including participating in on-call rotations and operational responsibilities

3+ years building cloud-based applications with solid skills in backend (Java & Python preferred)
Practical experience deploying applications using Kubernetes in AWS or GCP environments
Strong eye for clean, maintainable code with solid testing practices and performance awareness
Effective communication skills, willingness to share knowledge, and proactive teamwork
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Exposure to AI/ML, prompt engineering, or integration of LLMs (bonus)
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Spacelift (bonus)
Observability experience with Prometheus and Grafana (bonus)
History of shipping software in a B2B/SaaS environment (bonus)
