About the role

Contribute to full backend development lifecycle: design, implement, and maintain server-side logic and APIs
Develop backend features across Java and Python systems ensuring seamless user experience
Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and DevOps to deliver user-focused solutions
Write clean, efficient, well-tested code meeting performance, security, and reliability standards
Participate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, and uphold testing and maintainability practices
Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot performance issues across the stack
Engage in architectural and technical discussions to guide design decisions
Support features and services you build, including participating in on-call rotations and operational responsibilities

3+ years building cloud-based applications with solid skills in backend (Java & Python preferred)
Practical experience deploying applications using Kubernetes in AWS or GCP environments
Strong eye for clean, maintainable code with solid testing practices and performance awareness
Effective communication skills and willingness to share knowledge
Proactive approach to teamwork and continuous learning
Familiarity with AI, prompt engineering, or integration of LLMs (bonus)
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Spacelift (bonus)
Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana (bonus)
History of shipping software in a B2B/SaaS environment (bonus)
