About the role

  • We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team as our first employee in the Mooloolah Valley QLD, of Australia. This role will be pivotal in BeeHero's expansion into new crop markets. You build and maintain strong customer relationships and introduce growers to BeeHero's cutting-edge pollination services and our award-winning Pollination Insight Platform, with a focus on macadamia and avocado. You will manage the complete customer lifecycle, including lead generation and prospecting, contract negotiation, customer onboarding, renewals and account expansion. The position will require you to travel ~50% of the time Responsibilities Identify and qualify new business opportunities in assigned territory Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects Develop compelling proposals and presentations Navigate complex sales cycles and negotiations Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets Visiting current customers and prospective clients businesses to establish business opportunities Own the entire customer lifecycle from onboarding through renewal Assessing customers' needs, solve technical issues, drive product adoption and usage Develop and execute account plans to maximize customer value Monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics Monitor account health and identify expansion opportunities Conduct regular business reviews with key stakeholders Secure renewals and grow existing accounts Gather and communicate customer feedback to internal teams Create customer success stories and case studies Act as the voice of the customer internally

Requirements

  • Hold at least a Bachelor degree Proven experience (5+ years) in account management, preferably in the agri-tech or/and technology industry. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to build rapport and trust with customers. Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle customer issues and escalations effectively. Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with agricultural practices and technologies is highly desirable. Established relationships within the Avocado and Macadamia industry beneficial
