About the role

  • Achieve or exceed assigned annual quota through execution of approved Sales & Marketing plans and strategies
  • Develop long term relationships with customers and key decision makers
  • Assist in identifying key opportunities within each account
  • Provide feedback on market trends as well as competitor activity within each account
  • Determine appropriate resources needed to support growth (i.e., training, clinical support specialists)
  • Recruit, train, motivate and develop a high performance sales team including hiring, terminations, evaluations, and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Work effectively with Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Strong knowledge of medical device industry and hospital infrastructure
  • Ability to analyze business systems and processes
  • Demonstrated excellence in influencing, negotiating, and building partnerships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
