About the role

  • driving sales and services to existing customers as well as prospecting for new business
  • enhancing customer value and satisfaction by aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives
  • building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers or potential influencers
  • managing a longer sales cycle
  • applying knowledge of the customer's business to develop optimal solutions
  • negotiating and collaborating with the customer and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes and achieve consensus
  • focusing on sales strategy and execution
  • developing thorough knowledge of company policies, ability to interpret them to customers and prospects
  • planning sales calls on a continuous basis, organizing time for effective coverage of territory, elimination of needless driving

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-3 years successful medical equipment sales
  • Experience working with Pharmacy, IT as call points
  • Ability to manage a long sale cycle
  • Comprehensive understanding of 9 step sales process
  • Proven ownership of sales deals – from prospecting to closure
  • Successfully developed lead generation at facility and market level
  • Independently managed customer expansion order requests to successful completion
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and utilize sales enablement tools (SAP, SF.com, QlikView, A360)
  • Successfully managed a pipeline and demonstrated forecast accuracy
  • Experience working in a team environment, particularly with salespeople
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, communication, organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to travel 50%, including overnight travel.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid drivers’ license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company
  • Must possess and maintain a criminal background satisfactory to BD
  • Must be able to meet and maintain customer/medical facility access requirements, including regular or periodic drug screenings with a satisfactory result
