About the role
- Provide HR support for Global Functions team
- Support effective implementation of human resources practices, processes and programs
- Work with client leaders to execute annual BD Human Resources processes
- Assist client groups with organizational capability and capacity analyses and planning
- Partner with managers to assess and implement effective organizational structure
- Drive discussions and decisions affecting reductions-in-force or layoffs
- Develops key HR analytics and metrics, conducts analysis of trends
- Works closely with hiring managers and talent acquisition partners for recruitment strategy
- Consults with managers on pay-related decisions
Requirements
- Minimum BS/BA degree; preferably in Business Administration, HR Management
- Minimum of 5+ years progressive experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a generalist/HR Partner role
- Strong working knowledge of Employment Laws
- Proven ability to work independently
- Action oriented including the ability to make decisions in the face of ambiguity
- Analytical skills demonstrating the ability to extract, format, analyze and interpret data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong, verbal and written communication skills
