About the role
- Implement and configure technical services for new and existing customers (SIP, Teams, TLS, Webex, Zoom, etc.)
- Configure and decommission services in Ribbon SBC 5K/PSX and Pure IP’s billing platform (PortaOne)
- Manage porting orders, DIDs, and routing updates with precision and care
- Monitor and manage the ServiceNow queue, proactively addressing customer updates and technical inquiries
- Test and validate all configurations before delivery, ensuring reliability and failover readiness
- Collaborate with providers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve provisioning issues
- Ensure smooth handovers to customers and internal support teams
- Maintain compliance with company security and information-handling standards
- Tackle complex provisioning challenges with a proactive, problem-solving mindset — even under pressure
- Communicate clearly and confidently with customers, colleagues, and partners to ensure seamless collaboration
- Take ownership of each delivery from start to finish, ensuring every service is implemented and handed over with precision
- Approach every task with flexibility and curiosity, identifying smarter, more efficient ways to achieve success
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar technical or VoIP service delivery role
- Experience with Ribbon SBC + PSX (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A methodical, customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering excellence
- Familiarity with cloud PBX systems, SIP trunking, and Microsoft Teams Direct Routing
- Strong understanding of IP networking, SIP call flows, and packet capture analysis
- A degree in Networking, IT, Computer Science or a related field is desirable, but not required.
