About the role
- Provides operational and strategic support to the Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs), ensuring that divisional programs and projects align with organizational objectives.
- Coordinates divisional reporting, manages issues and materials, leads strategic initiatives, oversees divisional HR, records and financial operations.
- Acts as a key liaison between the EVP, senior leadership, and staff, driving organizational success through effective communication, project management, and operational excellence.
- Sets goals and objectives to achieve required business outcomes.
- Advises the EVPs on the alignment of corporate programs and strategic projects with organizational objectives.
- Monitors progress and reports on strategic initiatives, identifying risks and recommending solutions.
Requirements
- A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Public Administration, Financial Management and a minimum of five years related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior management with confidential operational guidance to aid decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience assisting with the coordination of key operational projects, ensuring they align with organizational priorities.
- Demonstrated experience applying strong decision making, communication and organizational skills to support divisional operations.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with internal teams and external contacts to help deliver divisional initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing daily workflows and provide guidance to divisional staff to meet objectives.
- Demonstrated experience tracking budgets and supporting procurement processes, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Demonstrated experience proactively identifying and addressing operational challenges and communicating solutions to leadership.
- Demonstrated experience managing varied workloads independently with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated experience with office systems, project management principles and tools, overseeing assignments and information.
- Preference may be given to applicants with experience working in an Executive Office.
