About the role

  • Work hand‑in‑hand with Baxter’s distributor partners to uncover opportunities, strengthen relationships, and help them deliver our product portfolio to healthcare providers.
  • Become a trusted advisor to distributors, ensuring they see you as their first point of contact for guidance, support, and growth.
  • Deeply understand distributor priorities and customer needs, tailoring solutions that empower partners to succeed in their markets.
  • Continuously share strategies, tools, and solutions that help distributors expand their reach and achieve their objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee smooth, timely delivery of products and services.
  • Act as the communication bridge between distributors, Baxter’s commercial leaders, and product managers, ensuring alignment and responsiveness.
  • Support distributors in resolving challenges quickly, maintaining business continuity and reinforcing trust.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities that strengthen distributor partnerships and drive sustainable growth.
  • Provide clear reports and forecasts that highlight distributor performance, market trends, and partnership outcomes.
  • Champion Baxter’s products by showing how they improve patient care and hospital efficiency while delivering economic value.
  • Serve as the local expert for distributors and internal stakeholders on assigned product lines.
  • Collaborate with regional Product Managers to enhance distributor knowledge through product demos, training sessions, and clinical events.

Requirements

  • A degree in Nursing, Science, Pharmacy, or equivalent (preferred).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in distributor management, hospital accounts, or solution selling within the medical device/equipment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare procurement processes and distributor dynamics.
  • Proven track record in medical device sales (surgical or capital equipment experience strongly preferred).
  • Ability to manage a territory/region independently with minimal supervision.
  • Consistent performance history in achieving sales targets and supporting partner success.
  • Experience conducting product training and CME sessions with healthcare professionals.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple portfolios and distributor relationships simultaneously.
