About the role
- Sell Respiratory Health products to hospitals, physician offices, clinics, home care and long-term care facilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategic territory sales plans for Baxter Respiratory Health products, programs, and services
- Manage both clinical and financial aspects of accounts to provide customer satisfaction
- Act as primary connection to healthcare professionals and provide insights and feedback to cross-functional teams
- Prospect for new business (15-20% of time) and manage a territory of 100-125 verified targets
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and communicate Baxter’s competitive differentiation to improve sales
- Complete company reports, plans and projects and comply with company and regulatory policies
- Travel overnight as needed; fleet vehicle provided when available
Requirements
- B.S./B.A. or 2+ years proven experience as a top-level sales performer in medical devices, pharma, DME, medical equipment or as a healthcare leader in a clinical environment
- Clinical experience in a Respiratory environment (RRT) preferred
- Significant experience in negotiating and closing new business and/or budgeting
- Demonstrated strategic selling skills (strategy development and execution)
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Valid driver's license required
