About the role

  • Lead the people plan for Delivery and Construction teams, partnering closely with Heads of and Managers.
  • Work across the full employee lifecycle – from organisation design to onboarding, development, engagement, and culture.
  • Report into the Head of People, Business Development.
  • Develop, maintain and track a Delivery and Construction People Plan covering capability, structure, engagement, workforce risks, and future skills.
  • Ensure alignment with wider People and Culture, DEI and Bauer-wide plans.
  • Design and oversee onboarding approaches and enhance employee experience.
  • Advise on organisation design activity and maintain high-quality job descriptions.
  • Lead workforce planning for Delivery and Construction to ensure the right capability, capacity, and skills.
  • Support Delivery and Construction hub expansion and monitor capability and performance across hubs.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a People Partner role, ideally in operational or multi-site environment (e.g. delivery, construction, logistics, infrastructure).
  • Strong judgement and problem-solving skills, able to balance commercial, operational and people considerations.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and change, with the ability to prioritise and deliver multiple initiatives.
  • Ability to build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders and managers, acting as both advisor and challenger.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills, able to engage diverse stakeholders across locations and levels.
  • Passionate about delivering a high-quality, inclusive employee experience and building a positive workplace culture.
  • Solid understanding of core HR disciplines, including organisation design, workforce planning, performance, engagement and talent development.
  • Strong grasp of people metrics, data interpretation and reporting - able to turn insight into action.
  • Experience navigating employee relations in partnership with our People Relations Partner and Legal, with strong knowledge of employment law and ER best practice.
