About the role
- Lead and motivate a team of Schools and Colleges Engagement Officers to meet recruitment targets and strengthen engagement activities
- Develop and manage relationships with key schools and colleges, serving as a university ambassador
- Plan and oversee recruitment events such as UCAS exhibitions, HE fairs, and UK University Search events
- Use data insights to refine recruitment strategies and drive application growth and conversion rates
- Work with the Student Ambassador Coordinator to support recruitment, training and deployment of Student Ambassadors
- Manage attendance at key sector and school and college events and work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure efficient resource allocation, support the team's professional development, and deputise for the Head of UK Student Recruitment when needed
- Shape outreach and recruitment activities to contribute to the university's growth targets
Requirements
- Experience of successful HE schools and colleges engagement
- Excellent ability to lead a team and identify opportunities for development
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Full UK driving license
- Desirable: Experience of managing a team within either student recruitment or outreach
