About the role

  • As a core member of the HR department, you will take responsibility for supporting both non-academic and academic staff.
  • Undertaking projects and running events to support the wider strategic objectives of the HR department.
  • Provide a smooth full HR service, which encompasses the employee life cycle.
  • Act as an important point of contact for HR enquiries.

Requirements

  • You will be able to communicate confidently with all levels of stakeholders across the University.
  • You will demonstrate an ability to build relationships quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience of dealing with confidential information and data.
  • Previous experience of using IT systems and software.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively when working to competing deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Recent administrative experience covering a wide range of activities.
  • Recent experience in a customer facing role.
