About the role
- Planning work packages, executing small projects and associated administration, management of process and safety inprovement projects.
- Coordinate Engineering activities within the Quality Management System (QMS) to maintain Good Manufacturing Practice; including all related documentation and investigation of root cause, defining appropriate corrective actions.
- Manage contractors during plant turnarounds to agreed timescale.
- Deputising for the Maintenance Engineering Manager when required.
- Manage the procurement of engineering spares; including identifying obsolescence, specifying optimal stock levels.
Requirements
- A degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or alternative experience in a similar environment is desirable.
- Operational experience in relevant industry, ideally Pharmaceutical or Food Production in an Engineering support role.
- Confident with computer packages such as microsoft.
