About the role
- Responsible for deployment of the Responsible Care® culture across Performance Materials’ (PMN) thirteen sites in North America
- Directly supervises a diverse team of EHS professionals to ensure EHS compliance
- Drives the Exposure Reduction Process across all N-PMN Sites to reduce or eliminate at-risk behaviors and conditions
- Owns the Wyandotte Site Contractor Safety Program by developing contractor selection and oversight processes
- Provides OSIH support for the Wyandotte Site Services Team
- Advises the EHS&S Director as an active member of the N‑PMN/OH Leadership Team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Ten (10)+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience managing EHS or other professionals and/or multidisciplinary teams preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred to drive continuous improvement in occupational health and safety performance.
