About the role
- Manage and lead the Product owner team in accordance with business requirements
- Oversee and coordinate lab workflows
- Manage complex projects to achieve organizational goals
- Collaborate with global teams to tailor products for customer requirements
- Define product portfolio and strategy for global customers
- Develop new products and optimize existing ones for cost and technical requirements
- Lead raw material replacement projects
- Design and implement application processes for new products
- Apply problem-solving tools to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Optimize lab workflows for cost, resource use, quality, safety, and environmental protection
- Develop and enforce procedures for safe and efficient operations
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational objectives
- Introduce new products and technologies at customer sites
- Plan and manage capital budgets (1–5 years) and allocate project costs accordingly
- Develop and mentor product owners.
Requirements
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in science / Paint Technology / Chemical Technology
- min. 15 years & above working experience
- Automotive Coatings ingredients and formulation technology / OEM line exposure
- Managerial Skills
- Knowledge of Paint application process.
- Experience of handling a team of minimum 10 members for more than 5 years.
