Own and optimize HR systems: Manage our HRIS and PEO, ensuring data integrity, process efficiency, and seamless employee experience. Evaluate when and how to transition off the PEO as the company scales.
International employment operations: Oversee immigration processes including employee visas and green cards. Evaluate risks and compliance considerations of hiring internationally through our EOR, and advise on global hiring strategy.
Vendor management: Serve as the point of contact for HR vendors, managing renewals, performance, and issue resolution. Lead evaluation and onboarding of new vendors across HR functions.
Compliance and audits: Maintain company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Oversee required trainings, documentation, and audit readiness.
Benefits administration: Partner with leadership to select, implement, and manage employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.). Act as liaison between employees and benefits providers.
Leave management: Define, document, and administer leave policies (PTO, parental, medical, etc.), ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and consistent employee experience.
Offboarding and deprovisioning: Manage end-to-end employee offboarding, ensuring timely deprovisioning and final pay compliance.
Policy and documentation: Maintain and evolve the company’s HR handbook and internal wiki, ensuring they reflect current policies and practices.
