About the role

  • Be a resource for assisting in designing of corporate spaces and identify where Barco fits and excels in Consultant Specifications.
  • Knowledge of the complex selling environment in the corporate AV space is a must.
  • Able to express technology and market thought leadership to build credibility with consultants.
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Ability to build internal relationships across functional lines for design assistance, project hand-off, and customer service/ issue resolution
  • Experience in gaining trusted advisor status, presenting to and understanding the value dynamics of the Consultant market
  • Working knowledge of project RFP and bid processes

Requirements

  • Industry Certifications a plus (e.g., AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, Cisco CCNA, etc.)
  • At least 5+ years in the ProAV corporate market.
  • Served in similar consultant-focused role for 2+ years (or equivalent experience of interaction with consultants and specifiers)
  • Engineering/Technical Degree or additional years of applicable experience
  • Self-starter and technically-minded
  • Highly responsive and customer-oriented
  • Ability to travel 50%.
