About the role
- Set the market strategy for affordable housing lending.
- Originate CRA eligible affordable housing construction and permanent loans with nonprofit and for-profit affordable housing developer customers.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of new and existing affordable housing relationships and negotiate loan terms and conditions.
- Prepare and present credit analysis and recommendations on borrowing requests.
- Conduct credit reviews to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Coach and mentor Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers.
- Actively market a broad range of bank services to meet the complex needs of customers.
- Create awareness of the Bank and its services through community engagement.
Requirements
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field (Required).
- You have a master’s degree in Urban Planning or Business (Preferred).
- You have 8+ years of experience in affordable housing lending and business development (Required).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
