About the role

  • Set the market strategy for affordable housing lending.
  • Originate CRA eligible affordable housing construction and permanent loans with nonprofit and for-profit affordable housing developer customers.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of new and existing affordable housing relationships and negotiate loan terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and present credit analysis and recommendations on borrowing requests.
  • Conduct credit reviews to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Coach and mentor Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers.
  • Actively market a broad range of bank services to meet the complex needs of customers.
  • Create awareness of the Bank and its services through community engagement.

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field (Required).
  • You have a master’s degree in Urban Planning or Business (Preferred).
  • You have 8+ years of experience in affordable housing lending and business development (Required).
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
