About the role

  • Handle assets of deceased customers and proper reporting per regulatory requirements.
  • Process requests from third parties for the release of bank information in accordance with federal and state financial privacy acts.
  • Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international collection items.
  • Perform account maintenance check back.
  • Perform scanning/archiving of account documentation.
  • Back up for Daily review and processing of unposted items and return items.
  • Will be cross-trained on various positions in the department.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of banking experience.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications.
  • Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented with good decision making skills.
  • Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor.
  • Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job.
