About the role
- Provide a variety of services including energy and infrastructure advisory and project development support
- Provide economic development and capital planning support
- Provide federal grant advisory with potential clients such as Tribes and Tribal Organizations, municipalities, non-profits, and other for-profit entities
- Support Baker Tilly’s services tied to the Inflation Reduction Act
- Participate in and contribute to client engagements; receive on-the-job training and technical development
- Collaborate with managers and partners and support contribution to and leadership of client engagements
- Build financial models and support business decision-making and financial processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, supply chain, engineering or manufacturing-related field required
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience (Senior Consultants)
- Involvement with a professional organization desired
- Experience building financial models incorporating income statements and cash flows to support business decisions
- Experience with core financial processes (e.g. monthly close, financial reporting)
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel
- Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
- Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
