About the role
- Provide partnership tax services to Baker Tilly, including tax preparation, planning, and consulting
- Work side-by-side with firm leadership to build the business and impact firm success
- Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various tax compliance and consulting services
- Consult on technical matters and special projects in various areas of flow through taxation
- Research tax matters and respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries
- Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters (state and local, high net worth, international)
- Invest in professional development and participate in firm-wide learning programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Law, or a similar degree in Business (Masters or advanced degree desirable)
- One to two years’ experience providing federal and multi-state tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services firm
- Significant experience with Partnerships and Special/Complex Partnership Allocations
- Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills
- Ability to lead and supervise others and provide exceptional client service
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current regarding applicable strategies
- Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills
