About the role
- Lead complex, multidisciplinary financial projects with long-term horizons (2–3 years).
- Design and implement internal controls over financial reporting, including accounting policy implementations and SOX compliance.
- Implement process simplification and internal controls over IPP monitoring and risk.
- Serve as controllership expert on financial system and Oracle ERP implementations.
- Advise management and support decision-making on important financial and functional subjects.
- Present solutions to business and functional leaders and communicate policy changes and implementations.
- Work with cross-functional teams and influence small business units or family-level P&L.
Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 10 additional years of experience in managing complex financial projects.
- Oracle experience is a must.
- Previous experience in oil and gas company is preferred.
- Knowledge of SOX and internal controls.
- Controllership and financial system/ERP implementation expertise.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
