About the role
- Lead the automation testing strategy, defining objectives and implementing best practices
- Build automation infrastructure from scratch (tools, architecture, environments)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and translate test strategies into automated scripts
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify issues, and drive resolution
- Design and maintain tailored automation frameworks, reusable components, libraries, and scripts
- Identify process gaps and explore new tools and technologies to improve automation
- Share expertise and foster a culture of continuous learning within the team
- Contribute to developing Bagira's next-generation training and simulation products; serve as primary automation owner
- On-site full-time position at Bagira headquarters in Modi'in
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing in a software development environment
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks
- Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Appium, Postman, and scripting in Python
- Significant experience with web and mobile testing
- Knowledge of API testing and integrating automated tests into CI/CD processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Proactive approach and eagerness to take ownership
- Willingness to occasionally travel both within Israel and internationally
