About the role
- Manage the development and application of Revolve — Back Market’s Design System (Responsive Web, iOS, Android)
- Build, evolve and maintain component libraries, documentation, governance and contribution frameworks
- Advocate the design system across designers, product managers and engineers and support stakeholder contributions
- Shape the vision and roadmap with the Design System team and drive adoption and usability
- Ensure accessibility by design and craft pixel-perfect UI components
- Day-to-day: craft new components, update existing ones, document guidelines, consolidate patterns, and support teams
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills: able to inspire teams and influence senior stakeholders with clarity and empathy
- Proven experience building, scaling and maintaining design systems
- Expertise in e-commerce or marketplace experiences, with a track record of high design system adoption and maturity
- Highest quality bar when it comes to UI and designing pixel-perfect components
- In-depth expertise in platform-specific design patterns and behaviors
