Provide production support, architecture, life-cycle management, configuration and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks and network appliances globally
Complete documentation and cross-training
Work with other teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions
Respond to network-related incidents, service requests and project tasks
Plan, order, and implement LAN/WAN/Wireless equipment
Monitor and troubleshoot requests, problems and outages with vendors and in-house resources; guide and mentor other IT members
Implement secure network architecture
Install, configure, and maintain Cisco & Meraki routers/switches and Palo Alto firewalls
Work with AWS networking components
Build, upgrade, and configure new and existing system components
Provide technical documentation (Diagrams, Test Plans, Requirements)
Work with outside vendors for planning and installations of data/voice communication networks
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or certifications
Minimum 6-8+ years of relevant in-depth technical knowledge in platform specific systems and/or network operations
Experience in LAN/WAN, SDWAN, VLAN, EIGRP, OSPF, VPNs, MPLS, NAT, QOS and SSL
Experience in supporting an enterprise infrastructure
Experience with configuring and supporting enterprise grade network equipment (routers, switches, wireless, firewalls)
Experienced troubleshooting skills
Ability to work effectively with personnel on all levels
Experience with Network Performance Monitoring Tools (preferred)
Experience in Project Management (preferred)
Technical expertise with Cisco (CatOS, IOS), Meraki (Switches, Wireless, Firewalls), Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect VPN
AWS networking: VPN, VPC, Route53, Security Groups
6-8+ years’ experience in network design, deployment, configuration and troubleshooting
