About the role

  • Calibrate, perform preventative and corrective maintenance of AVL equipment.
  • Able to wire control devices and verify operation.
  • Assists in the evaluation and repair of AVL equipment.
  • Assists in test equipment installation, configuration, maintenance and calibration.
  • Actively participate in developing one’s own training plan and exhibit ownership in completing training.
  • Provide feedback of troubleshooting guides and continuous improvement methods to increase operating equipment effectiveness (O.E.E.).
  • Record and document calibrations, diagnostic and performance test results, records maintenance activities, and documents while accurately maintaining shift logs.
  • Professional and timely submittal of timesheets, calibration reports, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Complete all applicable safety training.

Requirements

  • 2 Years Technical college preferred, High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic electronic or precision mechanical assembly knowledge
  • Ability to read blueprints including electrical schematics
  • Electrical wiring skills
  • Knowledge and use of fine mechanical hand tools
  • Ability to diagnose problems with simple systems
  • Basic knowledge of personal computer hardware and software
  • Experience test equipment preferred
