About the role
- Provide, modify and revoke user access across company systems, applications and platforms based on approved requests.
- Administer access provisioning, deprovisioning and role-based access controls across systems and applications.
- Maintain and implement access management policies, standards and procedures.
- Support periodic user access reviews and attestations (privileged and non-privileged access).
- Monitor and audit access logs and user activity to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Keep audit-ready documentation and evidence for access requests and approvals.
- Collaborate with IT, HR and business units to ensure accurate and timely access changes.
- Escalate high-priority or high-visibility access requests to senior levels as required.
- Meet defined service level agreements and operational key performance indicators for access management.
- Troubleshoot access issues and provide user support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of IAM processes, workflows and documentation.
- Support implementation of automation and self-service capabilities for access requests.
- Document processes and maintain up-to-date access control documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of three years’ experience in system access administration, IAM or IT operations.
- Experience supporting access management in a regulated or enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of role-based access control principles, least privilege and segregation of duties.
- Knowledge of Active Directory / Azure AD / LDAP (user and group management).
- Experience with IAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Experience supporting high-profile or business-critical applications.
- Experience with Broadridge/Dataphile is required.
- Experience supporting key client accounts.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with partners, clients and colleagues across Canada.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow is preferred.
- IAM accreditations/certifications are an asset.
