About the role

  • Provide direct assistance to end users in the operation of the AV/UC systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance checks & services on AV/UC systems
  • Perform maintenance support on all AV/UC systems including but not limited to basic troubleshooting and system fault isolation, projector lamp changes, filter cleaning, etc.
  • Provide setup and operational support for events
  • Possess the training and experience to resolve minor problems
  • Ensure compliance with all Customer safety and procedural guidelines
  • Provide minor technical assistance and concierge support in managed Zoom Webinars & Events
  • Event planning, Pre-event checks, managing & sharing content
  • Assist with end user training
  • Self-sufficient and stem increasing workload of managed events
  • Primarily in-office support with limited capability to work remotely

Requirements

  • Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues
  • Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control
  • Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standard
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be flexible to work after hours and weekends when required
  • Ability to regularly climb and work from ladders, lifting equipment, tools and materials
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of audiovisual integration experience
  • Formal education in Electronics or related field
  • Intermediate PC troubleshooting knowledge
