About the role
- Be part of the team responsible for growing the client base, and meeting set monthly targets and KPIs
- Provide support, problem solve and give excellent customer service to every person interacting with the business
- Speak about technical subjects in a simple way to make VAT more accessible to everyone!
- Able to find and create your own opportunities and turn them into leads and customers
- Communicate with prospective clients, educating and discussing VAT compliance
- Maintain and update our Client Relationship Management system (CRM)
- Build a pipeline of prospects from attending events and networking online
- Work closely and co-operatively with our Onboarding and Client Management teams to ensure a seamless service from start to finish
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Sales, Telesales or Business Development role
- Some industry experience is required
- Solid customer service focus and problem-solving attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Calmness under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including an excellent phone manner
- Strong team working ethic and ability to work collaboratively
- Proven ability to readily follow defined systems, procedures and protocols
- Genuine enthusiasm for e-commerce, finance and international trade
- Experience of working effectively in a home office and/or office environment
