About the role

  • Be part of the team responsible for growing the client base, and meeting set monthly targets and KPIs
  • Provide support, problem solve and give excellent customer service to every person interacting with the business
  • Speak about technical subjects in a simple way to make VAT more accessible to everyone!
  • Able to find and create your own opportunities and turn them into leads and customers
  • Communicate with prospective clients, educating and discussing VAT compliance
  • Maintain and update our Client Relationship Management system (CRM)
  • Build a pipeline of prospects from attending events and networking online
  • Work closely and co-operatively with our Onboarding and Client Management teams to ensure a seamless service from start to finish

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Sales, Telesales or Business Development role
  • Some industry experience is required
  • Solid customer service focus and problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Calmness under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including an excellent phone manner
  • Strong team working ethic and ability to work collaboratively
  • Proven ability to readily follow defined systems, procedures and protocols
  • Genuine enthusiasm for e-commerce, finance and international trade
  • Experience of working effectively in a home office and/or office environment
