Marketing

• Support the AVANT Midwest and South Central Sales team in coordinating and executing marketing initiatives to recruit, enable and grow AVANT’s Trusted Advisors ecosystem
• Ensure both sales teams are apprised of updated tools, materials, and marketing trends and strategies, while also representing AVANT Sales team point of view in marketing planning.
• Work with cross-functional teams to make improvements and share/receive best practices with/from other regions and teams
• Plan regional and local events and oversee onsite event management from inception to completion
• Provide registration lists pre and post events to sales with action items
• Facilitate event vendor logistics including RFP, site visit, contract negotiation, signature, purchase requests and purchase orders, payment, onsite management for related vendors
• Manage budget requirements through strategic recommendations and operational efficiencies and deliver projects within agreed timeline and budgets
• Partner with Marketing Operations and Digital Marketing to ensure all tactical elements are in place and report on the success of programs
• Deliver quality assurance that AVANT branding and messaging in marketing materials is clear, consistent, and optimized across regions
• Assist with additional marketing requests and one-off tasks to drive growth of key initiatives
• Coordinate with Vendor Management for MDF sponsorship
• Track and report on event metrics and impact

Field Marketing Manager

Manager

• Responsible for assisting with solution identification, procure pricing, generate contracts and place orders for respective carrier
• Collaborates with teammates, internal teams and Sr. Manager – Strategic Carriers to drive new process improvements to create efficiency and bring value to our Trusted Advisors
• Demonstrates and reinforces our team’s mission to think beyond just providing a quote and to find new ways of how to secure business
• Attends ongoing supplier meetings on a weekly basis
• Responsible for communicating product and process updates effectively across AVANT and with our Trusted Advisors
• Provides training internally for the ATT/ACC
• First tier point for carrier escalations
• Maintains all carrier specific documentations and training materials for internal teams
• Represents and promotes AVANT’s core values of integrity, honesty and mutual respect

Strategic Carrier Manager

• Facilitate assigned Vendor relationships throughout Vendor lifecycle, including onboarding of new Vendors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and/or liaison between Vendors and AVANT team.
• Responsible for management of all processes associated with assigned Vendors.
• Act as an escalation point for assigned Vendors on any Vendor-related issues.
• Responsible for ongoing support of Vendor programs and processes including business reviews/strategy sessions, bonus tracking, and forecasting.
• Secure funding for AVANT marketing and education initiatives from assigned Vendors.
• Implement recurring cadence calls with Vendors to discuss and/or track performance, market share, and feedback from AVANT team on programs, solutions, promotions, etc.
• Oversee the distribution of information regarding Vendor promotions, announcements, incentives, etc.
• Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of Avant and the Support Organization.
• Participate in Vendor meetings, advisory councils, and attend tradeshows, if applicable.
• Capable of and responsible for training and assisting the Manager/VP of Vendor Engagement with training new hires on day-to-day role and responsibilities.
• Responsible for the Vendor involvement and experience at AVANT events including but not limited to managing the selection of Vendors, supporting collection of materials and/or assets, and overseeing Vendor participation.
• Attend events as the Vendor Engagement representative and engage with Vendors and Trusted Advisors.
• Familiarity and basic understanding of assigned Vendor agreements and contracts.
• Serve as liaison with Vendor and Legal Team for all legal-related items affecting contracts and commissions.
• Understand commission schedules and be able to answer basic questions regarding compensation structure of assigned Vendors.
• Responsible for coordination with Legal team to create and modify commissions schedules.
• First line of contact for internal commissions/contractual questions.

Vendor Engagement Manager II

Sales

• Support the sales and development of existing and net new business opportunities within a defined base of existing clients
• Collaborate closely with the National Strategic Partner account managers, field sellers, team managers, and internal sellers to meet or exceed sales revenue targets
• Grow existing customer share by introducing new telecommunications, data center, cloud, and managed services solutions to clients
• Work closely with the existing sales team to define a transition plan to retain and grow recently sold clients
• Attain monthly and quarterly portfolio renewal contracts related to revenue goals
• Establish and cultivate a solid working relationship with vendor partners
• Establish a framework and recurring cadence with the sales and overlay teams to execute regular quarterly business reviews with customers
• Demonstrate a strong and effective knowledge of all telecommunications, data center, cloud, and managed service solutions in the Avant portfolio. Fluency in the contrasting differences between each solution and ability to articulate those differences based on a client’s requirements and sales opportunity
• Provide strong existing client management and outgoing business development efforts to optimize effective market coverage to exceed sales targets and reduce client attrition
• Help to create client-facing business development activities, perform demand generation, and perform all follow-up to business development activities
• Coordinate prospect meetings, teleconferences, and communications
• Participate in client seminars and workshops
• Create and deliver polished sales proposals and RFP responses
• Engage regularly with VAR sales leadership (manager, Director and VP) to provide visibility to open opportunities, upcoming renewals, and billed revenue
