About the role
- Lead the evolution of Avalere Health Medical’s engagement and omnichannel proposition
- Anticipate market shifts and translate emerging trends into relevant, future‑ready offerings
- Strengthen Avalere Health’s position as a leader in digital and experience‑led medical engagement
- Drive revenue growth through experience design, omnichannel planning and insight‑led strategy
- Identify and develop growth opportunities across existing clients and new business
- Shape and lead senior‑level pitches and strategic client conversations
- Oversee the quality and effectiveness of digital and engagement‑led medical programmes
- Embed omnichannel thinking into delivery approaches and ways of working
- Partner with Operations to support scalable and sustainable execution
- Act as senior sponsor on key strategic client accounts
- Lead engagement with senior medical and executive‑level stakeholders
- Represent Avalere Health externally through thought leadership and industry forums
- Build and lead a high‑performing engagement and digital medical capability
- Develop and inspire talent across digital strategy, UX, content, analytics and engagement design
- Champion innovation and omnichannel thinking across Medical Communications teams
Requirements
- Ideally 10+ years’ experience in Medical Communications, Healthcare Advertising or related healthcare consultancy
- Deep expertise in omnichannel engagement within medical and scientific communications
- Demonstrable track record of driving revenue growth and evolving commercial offerings
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams across strategy, digital and delivery
- Strong client-facing credibility with senior medical and commercial stakeholders.
