About the role
- Lead structured discovery sessions with internal and client stakeholders to understand objectives
- Translate business, research or operational needs into clear AI use cases and problem statements
- Shape and refine research questions, data schemas and prompt context to ensure clarity and feasibility
- Identify risks, assumptions and dependencies early
- Work closely with senior technical leads to assess solution approaches
- Conduct early feasibility discovery through hands-on experimentation with frontier AI tools
- Help determine whether solutions can be delivered through configuration and adaptation versus bespoke build
- Summarise findings into clear recommendations
- Convert discovery outputs into clear, actionable delivery briefs
- Ensure engineers receive complete, prioritised and well-scoped requirements
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of delivery-ready work across multiple initiatives
- Actively use and adapt existing AI tools and workflows
- Write, test and refine prompts for applied use cases
- Run analyses using established systems
- Act as a bridge between stakeholders, product leadership and engineering teams
- Clearly communicate scope, feasibility, trade-offs and delivery implications
- Present outputs, findings and recommendations in a structured and accessible way
Requirements
- Experience in a consulting, product, delivery or hybrid technical role
- Strong discovery and business analysis capability
- Hands-on experience using applied AI tools, including prompt-based systems
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams in end-to-end development environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills across internal teams and clients
- Comfort operating in regulated or policy-driven environments.
- Desirable: Consulting or client-facing delivery experience
- Experience working in healthcare, life sciences or other regulated industries
- Exposure to AI-enabled research, analytics or insight generation
- Familiarity with workflow automation or low-code tools
- Product experience in B2B or SaaS environments
- Strong appreciation of UX and user-centred design
- Previous experience scaling products or capabilities within an enterprise organisation
- Engineering background or technical education
