About the role
- Proactively identify and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and market research of clients in New Zealand
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients to understand their recruitment needs and challenges in New Zealand
- Develop and execute strategies to convert leads into clients, negotiating terms and closing agreements
- Collaborate closely with the recruitment team to ensure a seamless handover of client requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or similar role in the recruitment industry
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and market dynamics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive for results and ability to work independently
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
