About the role
- Build and operate FinOps as a service, product, community, and culture
- Serve as FinOps Product Owner for stakeholder-facing capabilities
- Maintain a FinOps services portal
- Evolve the operating model for FinOps as a service
- Lead a FinOps Champion Network across engineering, finance, and product teams
- Drive FinOps cultural practices that improve governance and decision quality
- Deliver advanced analytics, dashboards, and optimization
- Define and maintain reporting standards
- Identify optimization opportunities
- Support cloud service owners in forecasting cloud spend
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards in Apptio Cloudability, Apptio BI, and Turbonomic
- Working knowledge of cloud billing and pricing constructs
- Experience partnering with a technical community to drive automation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated customer-focused service mindset
