About the role
- This is a 10–12-week remote internship for Autism Speaks, supporting Southern CA area events including two Empower Walk & 5K Run’s and more. Duties include event logistics, donor/sponsor/volunteer outreach, school outreach, marketing/communications, and managing outreach for in-kind donations of gift cards and experiences
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Able to receive class credit
- Commitment to a flexible work schedule of 20 hours per week during standard business hours
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Excellent customer service skills in dealing with internal and external constituents
- Must have the ability to work with a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and social media technology
