About the role

  • AuditBoard: leading audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec SaaS platform serving 50%+ of Fortune 500
  • Role: Strategic Account Executive owning named Central Region accounts (focus on $15B+ revenue enterprises)
  • Responsibilities: execute full-cycle sales, territory and account planning, pipeline generation, and close deals
  • Drive cross-sell/up-sell and net new business; build multi-year account and territory plans
  • Build trusted CxO relationships and collaborate with CS, Alliances, Product, and Engineering
  • Identify customer pain points, demo product, co-create solutions, and develop business cases
  • Partner with SDRs, SEs, Value Architects, Implementation, and Customer Success teams
  • Develop partner ecosystem (Big 4 and boutique firms) to support business development
  • Position requires being remote but based in the Central Region (Chicago, IL)

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience with at least 4 years selling enterprise/B2B SaaS solutions
  • Ranked among the top salespeople in recent roles with a consistent track record of exceeding quarterly and annual quotas ($1.3M-$1.7M)
  • Strong experience managing deal sizes of $100k-1M+ ARR
  • Proven ability to navigate complex SaaS deals and engage multiple stakeholders
  • Experience leveraging cross-functional teams (Customer Success, Solution Engineering, Renewals)
  • Strong executive presence and ability to build trusted relationships with C‑suite
  • Familiarity with regulated industries and legal negotiations a plus
  • Skilled in utilizing MEDDICC/MEDDPICC sales qualification framework
  • Adaptable, growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Excellent listening, responsiveness, and presentation skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Willingness to travel ~25%-30% for client/partner meetings and events
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
