About the role
- Lead, manage & establish configuration management at a company or programme level
- Establish, maintain and implement a programme level CM system
- Provides capability planning, budgeting, scheduling, implementation, monitoring and improvement
- Accountable for the deployment and maintenance of the Configuration Management system
- Builds a network of relationships with External businesses, contractors and industry experts
Requirements
- Educated to Degree or HND/HNC level
- Experience in Senior Management Training/Qualification
- In depth understanding and proven application of CM Standards (Def Stan 05-57, Def Stan 05-61, EIA-649, ISO10007 and IpX CMII)
- Knowledge and experience of performing CM at the company/programme level
- Fully conversant and experienced in the functionality and implementation of CM tools (comprehensive PLM tools)
- Experience of managing a dispersed and often indirect team of people
