About the role

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with our clients' promoting Social Value services and other services from within AtkinsRéalis
  • Develop, manage and deliver Social Value delivery plans for clients and project teams
  • Plan and run Social Value programmes/activities including managing of community partners and engagement with key stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively across the business and with joint venture partners
  • Play an active part in business development for the team – including network building, identification of opportunities, bidding, client presentations
  • Support procurement and management of suppliers and support supply chain engagement and upskilling

Requirements

  • Demonstrable industry experience in delivery of social value activities and programmes
  • Passionate about social impact and ensuring communities have a real say in shaping our projects
  • Strong technical understanding of the Social Value landscape in England, economic impact, environmental management, corporate responsibility or sustainability
  • Able to demonstrate commercial awareness and business development skills
  • Proactive and confident, a team player but also able to work independently
  • A finisher, paying attention to detail
  • Able to write bids and has creative thinking for social value responses to win work
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and change
  • A relevant qualification in social/environmental/natural science or similar subject or demonstrable industry experience
