About the role

  • Project management and technical delivery of a wide variety of contaminated land focused projects
  • Providing technical guidance, constructive support and mentoring to junior staff
  • Liaison with clients, stakeholders, regulators, sub-contractors and other internal disciplines
  • Supporting senior management in developing new business and the preparation of commercial offers

Requirements

  • Higher education qualification in a relevant engineering or science subject (e.g. geology, geography, hydrogeology, chemistry, earth sciences, environmental science)
  • Chartered Membership of relevant professional body
  • A minimum of 10 years relevant post-graduate experience (ideally within a consultancy environment)
  • Technical leadership and delivery of Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Site Investigations, remediation design and verification / validation
  • Good working knowledge and demonstrable understanding of the relevant legislation, technical guidance, industry standards and best practice for contaminated land, materials management and waste
  • Customer focused with good relationship management skills.
