About the role
- Be the focal point for all GB DNO’s
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the GB DNO organisations and internally within AtkinsRéalis
- Work with the DNO Client Manager to develop and maintain a client plan / gold sheet for each GB DNO
- Gather market intelligence (projects, trends, competitors, pricing)
- Ensure DNO Client managers manage the forward pipeline for each DNO account
- Act as Capture Manager for strategic importance
- Identify new opportunities and cross-sell AtkinsRéalis services
- Oversee effective delivery of work across GB DNO accounts
- Ensure adherence to governance processes and best practices
- Have financial accountability for revenue growth
Requirements
- Track record of success in Key Account Management
- Excellent existing knowledge and active contacts across one or more of the GB DNO’s (Preference to UKPN, NGED, SSEN & NPG)
- Proven experience of KAM in the engineering, construction, or professional services sectors
- An understanding of engineering projects and terminology
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and adaptability
- Ability to navigate complex client environments and influence perceptions
- Commercial acumen and experience in bidding and winning work
- Excellent project management skills
