About the role

  • Be the focal point for all GB DNO’s
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the GB DNO organisations and internally within AtkinsRéalis
  • Work with the DNO Client Manager to develop and maintain a client plan / gold sheet for each GB DNO
  • Gather market intelligence (projects, trends, competitors, pricing)
  • Ensure DNO Client managers manage the forward pipeline for each DNO account
  • Act as Capture Manager for strategic importance
  • Identify new opportunities and cross-sell AtkinsRéalis services
  • Oversee effective delivery of work across GB DNO accounts
  • Ensure adherence to governance processes and best practices
  • Have financial accountability for revenue growth

Requirements

  • Track record of success in Key Account Management
  • Excellent existing knowledge and active contacts across one or more of the GB DNO’s (Preference to UKPN, NGED, SSEN & NPG)
  • Proven experience of KAM in the engineering, construction, or professional services sectors
  • An understanding of engineering projects and terminology
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and adaptability
  • Ability to navigate complex client environments and influence perceptions
  • Commercial acumen and experience in bidding and winning work
  • Excellent project management skills
